How to Apply Eye Shadow
You eye shadow needs a foundation, just like the rest of your face. Pick a light eye shadow color and brush it on from your lash line to your brow and fill in that area. If you are planning for your eye makeup to last for many hours, apply eye concealor or your regular foundation into that area first. Then cover the area with your light color of eye shadow.
Next apply a medium color eye shadow on your eye lids and blend the color in with your base color. If you prefer, you can brush a darker color of eye shadow on the outer corner of your eye lids. This color should be applied from your lash line to the crease of your eye.
Eye Shadow Tips
- Do not apply eye makeup in excess. The objective of using eye shadow is for people to notice your eyes, not your makeup.
- Eye shadows in browns and beiges tend to look more natural.
- Do not forget to blend your eye shadows so that the transition between the different colors appears more natural.
